An ambivert is a person having characteristics of both extrovert and introvert. I use this word to define my work as a potter because spending time creating in solitude allows me to turn water, clay, and fire into an artistic manifestation of my mind, body, and soul.

The resulting vessels become a means of enjoying the bounty of life while spending quality time with family, friends, and those who will become one, the other, or both.
